And there are other ways to volunteer. Contact us today to see how you can get involved.
By definition, volunteering is “the practice of people working on behalf of others or a particular cause without payment for their time and services… intended to promote good or improve human quality of life.”
Clare County Senior Services volunteers not only generously donate their time, money and skills, but also make an extraordinary impact on those they serve. Through their dedication, thousands of hours have been donated to our program by our home delivered meals drivers, congregate dining & activity center volunteers, medical transportation drivers, and many others who assist with program services in a wide variety of ways.
For some of our seniors, our volunteers may be the only human contact they receive in any one given day. The importance of this interaction exceeds words. Our volunteers make it possible for our seniors to receive much needed medical attention and also assist our staff with the daily tasks that are required to provide the very best service we can.
