This service provides assistance with routine activities which maintain a clean and safe environment for the older individual. Tasks may include light housekeeping, shopping for necessities, meal preparation, and laundry.

• Provides assistance with light housekeeping, vacuuming, dusting, and grocery shopping.
• Performance of routine household tasks to maintain an adequate living environment for adults with functional limitations.
• Homemaking does not include the provision of chore or personal care tasks.

Homemaking tasks are limited to the following:

• Laundry
• Ironing
• Meal preparation
• Shopping for necessities (Including groceries)
• Light housekeeping tasks
  • Including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, floors, cleaning bathroom and kitchen, making beds, maintaining a safe environment
  • Observing, reporting, and recording any change in the client’s condition and home environment
